We have made it to Oregon. Spent the night with the next set of relatives. The best part has been I haven't cooked yet staying with the family. That is about to end though. We arrived in Gold Hill, Oregon on Wed. afternoon. Jack was off to play golf with nephew Billy and niece Cheryl and I went to Del Rio winery in Gold Hill and tasted wine. I bought a nice dessert wine while we were there. Cheryl made us dinner and we caught up with the boys too!
Left there this a.m. to go to La Pine. Stopped at Crater Lake too just for the view. We checked out a few spots in La Pine and decided they really weren't what we were looking for, so on to Bend. After driving around for over an hour looking for the state campground, (the gps took us in circles and then to the headqtrs, but no state park) we went to the Ritz! We are at Crown Villa RV Resort. Quite fancy. No fishing yet, laundry and a jacuzzi tonight. Our first night to cook a dream dinner! Hopefully fishing for Jack tomorrow so he can try out those new waders!
