Well long day on the road. We made it to the Tacoma area, checked out a RV site and did not like it, so moved on. Went to another site in Renton, backed to the freeway and it was $50 a night, so moved on again. Found Vasa Park on Lake Sammamish. A bit like Irvine Lake, except the lake is 10 times bigger. We do have hook ups and wi fi so we are good for a night at least. Meeting up with family friends tomorrow. The Anderson's who I knew as a little girl, my water ski partner! She happens to work for Seattle FD. Looking forward to seeing the family tomorrow. Rain has stopped and sun is out for a bit too. A lot cooler up here. Jack is of course out making friends with the locals while doing laundry.
Foot is getting better, black and blue and swollen still, but I can get around pretty well with my boot on. Hopefully next week I might be closer to normal.
