Seattle...We met up with friends from my childhood! The Anderson family. Karen and I competed against each other as water skiers as kids. Karen is a firefighter for Seattle. She was one of the first 3 women in the dept. Her brother Kevin is a mfg. rep. with his own company, and the youngest Kelly lives on 5 acres and has 2 children. She was always the youngest who followed us around. All of them are married, but their spouses were elsewhere, so it was great they took the time to have a night with us. Really great seeing all of them.
Their mom, Kathie went with Jack & I on a "Ducks tour" today. We have seen them in other cities. Great way to see the highlights of the city. It was also quite entertaining. Then we were off to Pike's market. It was very crowded, didn't really see any fish flung today.
On top of it all the weather was terrific! and we saw Mt. Rainer.
