We are off!

We are off. Left home Sunday afternoon spent the night half way (Harris Ranch). Arrived in Chico at families a little after noon. Will stay here for a night then head to more family in Oregon. Foot lots better, getting around without crutches now, so there is progress!

Had a bit of a delay to the trip...the dogs were doing "dog gone wild" and clipped me, knocked me to the ground causing a bad sprained ankle. So starting the trip in a boot and on crutches! yikes...so here we go. Might change plans just a bit, not sure I can do the white water rafting thing now?

Getting ready!

We are in the final prepartion stages now...when we are going to be gone for so long I am trying to remember what all needs to be taken care of during the month. Not too worried about the packing part. It's not like we won't find a Target or Walmart or grocery store along the way!!!
